How to repel dogs????
Soo . . . yeah, one of our less known neighbors (no one knows him) owns a chocolat lab and we think he’s letting his dog sh*t on our front garden. We have a fenced bit, but there is some grassy bit on which it poops, and it’s always at random times, so how do we repel it or catch them? Its really peeing me off now!
I sure can used some insite on this! Recently we have had many Coyote’s in my neighborhood. I came upon 2 while walking my dogs. Now carry pepper spray but now I was just informed that also Fisher Cats have been sited and also a Brown Bear.
Any information on the latter two would be greatly appreciated!
Most like time to see them? What to do if I do? Should I just not walk the dogs for a while? I do live in a very country setting but Geeze!!!
Thanks Pam but I live in CT. The state has benn importing the Fisher Cats to try to keep the Geese population down?
Where I live is only 1 1/2 mile from the Ct. River and I already checked no consturction near the river.

Ive started watching this show lately and am kind of shocked by it. Are bounty hunters legally allowed to do the following:
Enter someones home without a warrant- These guys often go around knocking on peoples doors and barging their way into their homes. And often they do this to the wanted guys neighbors or other people who have done nothing wrong and are not harboring the wanted man or woman.
Physically Assault people- Some of these guys in Dogs crew, often initiate a fight with some guy- again often somebody who has done nothing wrong and is just mad at them for going around causing chaos and antagonizing them. That young punk who i think is Dogs son seems to seize every opportunity to do this. And ive only ever seen him taking a swing at either old guys, drunks or little guys. If its a young or big guy he just pepper sprays them and then legs it to the car.
Verbally abuse people- These people are annoying self righteous, which is ironic given the history of many of the people in this family, who in the past have been on the wrong side of the law. They all go around talking down to people, using foul language and antagonizing them.
Damage peoples property- Ive seen them kicking down peoples doors and pushing the furniture over, and you hear mirrors smashing things breaking etc.
One morning, my wife was leaving for work (I had already left). She was walking out the door and to her car when she heard the neighbors dog barking. She turned and looked towards their house,and the dog somehow escaped their fenced in yard and was running toward her. She hurried to her car,but realized she couldn’t make it in time. She grabbed the mace out of her purse and sprayed the dog right in the eyes when he ran up to her. The dog started whimpering and ran away. My wife said the dog was barking the whole time he was running up to her and she feared that he would bite her.
The neighbor’s want to sue us, and told us they will be pressing charges against us for "animal cruelty".
Is this right? What do I need to do?
Hey Everyone,
I am stuck at a crossroad. I don’t know what to do about my neighbors dog. Every morning when I go jogging his dogs chase me. They haven’t tried anything because I always bring my German Shepherd with me, and he is easily twice as big as these dogs. There are about four of them, and when I run they try to circle barking at me and my dog. I don’t think they will do anything when my dog is with me, but I am worried about what they might do if he is not there. I am also worried that they might get more confident and attack. I don’t want to get bit, and I don’t want my dog to kill their dogs.
I thought about calling animal control on them, but they are rednecks and they might do something to me if they found out. Also, the road I live on is on the outskirts of town and everyone that lives here has lived there for awhile, and I am afraid that the word would spread if someone found out I was the one who called. I hate these dang, and I am thinking about pepper spraying the crap out of them the next time they bother me. Would that keep them away or entice them?
I haven’t talked to the neighbors yet. I kinda don’t want to. Their yard is huge and it looks like a junk yard. Seriously my wife and I call it junk yard paradise. Luckily it is past my house and doesn’t affect my property value.
Also, I am worried if I call animal control and they go down there they will find out it is me, and slice my tires, kill my dog, bust out my windows. Who knows rednecks are retarded, and don’t care about anyone other than themselves.
Maybe I should kidnap these dogs, and drop them off at the animal shelter. Atleast they would have the chance to be with a family who cares about them.
Ok, I live in a neighborhood where a few of my neighbors own dangerous dogs – amongst them, a german shepard. They walk the dogs without leash nor muzzle, letting them walk around, loose. I have a small dog myself, who has been attacked by these dogs in more than one occasion. The situation is getting to a breaking point. I`m trying to avoid calling the police, so i want to know if someone knows some stuff than can prevent an attack. My idea is to walk my dog with a hairspray. Pepper spray is forbidden in my country, so I´m hoping hairspray can have the same effect – does anyone know if it can?
Any suggestions?
I thought I should add this: I`m trying to avoid calling the police for two reasons. 1) Police is highly inefficient in my country, so a formal complaint will have little input on the situation, and 2) These people not that civilized, so a formal complaint can have the reverse effect of them taking revenge on me. I thought I should clear this up.
okay so my mail man countless of times does NOT deliver our mail. and no its not cause we dont have mail that day…its cause he hears our dogs barking, that are inside our house, no way of them getting out, and walks partially up our lawn but then hears the dogs, has our mail in his hand but then turns and doesnt even deliver our mail. then puts our mail back into his freaking sack thingy and then gets our a different mail stack and delivers our neighbors mail. PLUS!!!! he’s tried to pepper spray our dogs through the security gate we have!!!!! not acceptable!
i’m waiting for a package that should have been delivered yesterday. but instead of the package, i got a note in my mail box saying that i have to go to the post office to pick it up instead. OR in smaaalllll writing i could go online and request to have it redelivered. so i did that yesterday and it should have came today. but it didnt. i even filled out that little piece of paper that was left in my mail box, and i signed it and everything. and i watched the mail man take it. if he does NOT deliver my package tomorrow….i WILL report him! i mean he’s a freakin mail man! dont get the job if your a dog hater + dont want to deliver people’s mail when thats your job!!!!!! and he’s a shady person! he reported me saying i verbally abused him when i did not! and he’s referring to an incident that happend when i was 10 years old. and im 19 now! and i wouldnt have gotten an attitude if he hadnt skipped our house 3 days in a row and walk away from me really fast acting like he didnt even see me! UGH im sooo fed up.
how do i report this stupid jackass!!!!???????

the dog is inside my house! the mail box where he sometimes delivers our mail, is outside. its not even near the door. he cannot get bit, nor can my dog open the gate. there for…my mail man is a huge douche bag…
I love to run.. I do it almost every day. But there is a dog down the street medium sized brown dog. Every time it is outside and I run by it chases after me and tries to bite me. I have yelled no, go home. I have carried a stick and swung it at it. I have tried to spray it with pepper spray but it missed. But it just keeps coming. I have yelled at the neighbors do something about your F in dog while running by being chased… Also it suck that the dog roams the neighborhood and I have had this happen in totally different areas almost a mile from the house… It gets other dogs in on it to that normally just bark..What do I do??? Help!
What irritates me the most about this is that my mom lives in apartments and the management is careless about who they let me in obviously because after evicting a couple who did nothing they moved in these roudy drug addicts with 3 or 4 dogs. One being a full grown german shepard and a pitbull and pitbulls are one of the breeds that are not allowed. Anyways these people harass every neighbor who lives by my mother that has a dog claiming their scared of dogs but their not. Their are like 7 people living in that apartment and tuesday while my aunt was walking my moms dog these 2 men approached her from that apartment and had the pitbull off leash and my moms dog doesnt like other dogs and will bite and she told them to not get close and my cat follows my moms dog everywhere and she was in the bushes at the time but the guys told their pitt to sick my pussy and appearantly the dog went up to my cat was sniffing her and she smacked the pitt with her paw and yesterday she was not walking did not want to be picked up hissed and did not even wanna go outside which is totally out of character for her so when i picked her up and put her on my moms bed my mom noticed a small chunk missing from the back of leg and she didnt have this until that pitt went up to her. My cat is fixed and has all her shots but is not licensed but idk what to do about this because I think it is wrong not to mention some other people sprayed her with dog repellent last week and she is usually an indoor cat and is very sweet. These people threaten to kill everyone elses dogs but now their targeting my animal.
The neighbors over here have complained and the problem with that is that they threaten them and get in their face and try to retalliate
To make a long story short, a lady lied about her dog being a service animal to move into our dog/cat free complex. She allows the beast to roam about all day outside in the courtyard unsupervised (not doing much service when it’s outside all day terrorizing people and you inside huh?). Not only is it destroying the courtyard, pooping everywhere, barking constantly but it terrorizes the residents, has knocked several of us over, many of us have resorted to carrying pepper spray to get it in the face when it approaches us. Our manager is fed up with it, but the owner (who lives in another state) says it stays. The lady is rude too. The dog has been digging up my garden under my window and pooping in it and eating the bulbs. It has also taken to terrorizing my parrot (who I’m allowed to have) all day while I’m at work through the window (several neighbors and the manager have told me this). She tried to complain that my bird was "loud" and his squawks were "scaring" her dog! The manager told her this was BS, and that in over a year, until her dog started hanging out under our window, he himself had never heard my bird, nor had any other residents and to keep her dog away from my window. She has not listened and I am LIVID that my poor bird must have the blinds closed all day because of this dog because he is getting so scared he is injuring himself.
What can I do to keep this filthy beast away from my apartment so it stops terrorizing my bird, and stops digging up my garden? This is major BS, and if this keeps up much longer, we’re moving (2 people have already moved due to this dog). Do they make those things that repel moles with high frequency noises for dogs? That’s along the lines of what I was thinking of doing, burying one of those in the garden.
