My beagle has been biting her paws and lower back and scratching her ears the past few months.She has done it so much her lower back is missing fur so is her tail.I took her to one vet and they said it was a flea allergy so I ripped the carpet out of my house bought her a flea repellent tag and itch halt spray as well bathing her in a oatmeal shampoo once a month.She hasnt gotten better and I havent seen a single flea on her and I checked hourly so I took her to a second vet and she said it was a food allergy so I was told to feed her turkey and rice as well as continuing the bathing itch stopping spray and brushing and she still isnt any better.Does anyone know what could be wrong with her she is 3 years and spayed.I love her and just want to see her well and with two vets telling me two things im so confused.
Her ears and skin are dry.And she does have sores on her paws and legs from biting
I dont give her treats.Ill visit those links.If it was mange would my brothers dog have it because his dog is fine.

Has your dog had skin scraping looking for mites that live in the skin? or yeast? Has she been treated for secondary infections with antibiotics? Has the primary allergy been treated with at least one round of anti-inflammatories (prednisone)? I havent had any of these done.

i have a 2.5 year old female yellow lab. she is spayed and has been so since she was 4 months old.

every time i take her over my in-laws to go swimming, their male black lab (2 years old) goes crazy for her. he is not neutered and it has gotten to the point that she cannot not go anywhere without him pinning her to the ground and trying to mate with her. im starting to worry that he may eventually injure her, or worse, drown her as he attempts to do the same thing in the pool.

i originally thought that they just had a super "horny" dog, however, every so often their male springer spaniel (7 years old) will join in on the action. they both approach her as if she is giving off some kind of odor. is this possible with a spayed female dog?

if anyone has any experience with this please let me know. i am desperate to resolve the situation. perhaps there are some sprays or repellents i can use on her? i don’t want to stop going over there as my dog loves to swim!

Are there any sprays that scare away cats and foxes, but won’t bother a rabbit? I’d like to get a bunny and build a run for her in my back garden, and I was hoping there’s an easy way to stop predators trying to break in.

I just got husky pup she about 7 and half week pup, just got a few q’s though, its about her mouth, her breath stinks really bad, can i brush the husky pup’s teeth? Another question what are the best treats to train huskies? My dog also loves biting i bought her toy that she can chew on but she loves chewing the carpets is there any repellent spray i can use?
She has 3 chewing toy and a ball.

We just got a pool in our backyard. During the day and late at night, it’s fine to go swimming. But between around 6 and 9, we nearly get attacked by bats every time. What can I do to make them go away? My thoughts have been to get a fake owl and mount it on my roof or to spray dog repellent around my deck.
but they literally fly within inches of our faces. and bats aren’t completely blind as far as I know.

I’ve got 5 dogs and pick up after them twice a day. With the warm weather approaching, I’ve also now got a giant fly population the size of Brazil. I’ve tried to get rid of them using the bags you buy at Lowe’s/Home Depot, fill with water and hang from the highest point. My dogs think they’re pinatas and manage to jump up and knock them down (and get sick as a result). Do you know of an EFFECTIVE Homemade Fly Repellent I can make at home – spray on the lawn, trees, etc…? Would like to kill flies, but not my dogs. Thanks for any help! Avondale, AZ

Just a few years ago, I could spray my dogs with flea killer/repellent and not have to worry about them for three days or more at a time. This year, I have been spraying them in the morning and having a noticeable flea infestation by late afternoon. Both my dogs are inside dogs. They go out for morning exercise, to play, and for their "constitutionals" throughout the day.

I was recently reading an article about how environmental whackos are outlawing so many things that it has become impossible for anything to actually work anymore. One illustration in the article I was reading, for instance, noted how it is impossible to get clothes clean and whites white with changes in styles of washing machines and with the removal of certain chemicals from detergent. The article recommended chemicals that you can buy at the hardware store and add to your wash to actually get your clothes clean in spite of the envirotards silly regulations.

Does anyone know if fooltard envirowhackos have made any recent changes in flea and tick sprays? If not, is there any way of obtaining the outlawed chemicals? Is there a noncompliant or semi-compliant product?

What irritates me the most about this is that my mom lives in apartments and the management is careless about who they let me in obviously because after evicting a couple who did nothing they moved in these roudy drug addicts with 3 or 4 dogs. One being a full grown german shepard and a pitbull and pitbulls are one of the breeds that are not allowed. Anyways these people harass every neighbor who lives by my mother that has a dog claiming their scared of dogs but their not. Their are like 7 people living in that apartment and tuesday while my aunt was walking my moms dog these 2 men approached her from that apartment and had the pitbull off leash and my moms dog doesnt like other dogs and will bite and she told them to not get close and my cat follows my moms dog everywhere and she was in the bushes at the time but the guys told their pitt to sick my pussy and appearantly the dog went up to my cat was sniffing her and she smacked the pitt with her paw and yesterday she was not walking did not want to be picked up hissed and did not even wanna go outside which is totally out of character for her so when i picked her up and put her on my moms bed my mom noticed a small chunk missing from the back of leg and she didnt have this until that pitt went up to her. My cat is fixed and has all her shots but is not licensed but idk what to do about this because I think it is wrong not to mention some other people sprayed her with dog repellent last week and she is usually an indoor cat and is very sweet. These people threaten to kill everyone elses dogs but now their targeting my animal.
The neighbors over here have complained and the problem with that is that they threaten them and get in their face and try to retalliate
