My boyfriend and I have 2 siberian huskies, 1 irish wolfhound and 2 cats, which all somehow picked up fleas. We’ve started adding in a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in with every bowl of water that gets drank, but when does it take effect?

Found this little stray kitten in the garbage. Had fleas and little patches of missing fur. Got him some flea repellent, a hearty bag of kitten food, a place to do his kitty litter business, and a wooden box to protect him from all extremities. I have 2 male dogs and 3 cats( 2 are male). I have had all pets for quite some time and they are all fixed. I recently purchased a new ottoman( the one male cat thinks I bought it for him) and have noticed one of them are either spraying or peeing on it. The corners are soaked and some of the carpet also. This is happening everyday when i come home from work and sometimes when i wake in the morning. The one dog I believed it to be ( loves to mark when on walk) had its urine checked and came back negative. I tried to video tape while at work but the tape did not last all day…my question is how much spray does come out when a cat marks? is it enough to soak the furniture and the carpet? the smell is bad…any ideas..
oh and i did spray using a cat/dog deterrent and that only worked for a couple days

my dog just peed on the porch, and as a punishment, my dad squirted him with pepper spray. i’m worried that it’s not safe for him. if not, what are some other alternatives for punishing him. (don’t say to rub his nose in it, because if we do that, he’ll tear us limb from limb.)

we are not bad owners. we trained him but over the years, he turned into a monster. we have taken good care of him, and he has attacked multiple members of the family for stuff like just walking into the same room as him. we would have him put down, but we’re too nice, and we know no other home would be able to handle him. we have never laid a hand on him, and we treat him very well, he is just psychologically messed up. don’t you dare say that we shouldn’t own any animals. we have lots of cats and the dog, all of which we have loved and given a good home to.

Several of my neighbors have cats. These kitties have taken to digging around in my flower beds. My dog offers them no deterrent as she likes to "play" with them.

I’ve heard that pepper spray and even just sprinkled peppercorns can deter some animals. Is this a safe option? I’d rather not resort to chemicals or stand guard over my plants and asking neighbors to keep their cats under control is just silly. Are there better options?

I also have a neighbor dog that constantly escapes and knocks over the garbage cans in the alley. I was considering spraying the cans and the surrounding area with it too.
I’m not going to spray the ANIMALS! I’m going to spray the ground and plants! This isn’t the kind of pepper spray used for self-defense. Did you read my question. Obviously, I’m looking for a safe option.
The section they have been digging is full of daffodils. lol!

I have a 2 1/2 year-old dog, and she has fleas. I’ve recently run out of dog flea spray, and she’s scratching like crazy tonight. I have a bottle of "Hartz Flea & Tick Repellent for Cats" and I was wondering if that was safe to spray on a dog.

There used to be an animal shelter near our house and it has moved, but a lot of people in the county don’t realise this, and when they see that it is closed, they just dump their animals off and a lot of them end up at our house.

They are having litter after litter, and we catch what we can and take them to the humane society, but we have a barn and we cannot go under it, and that’s a huge breeding ground…is there some type of herb or scent they hate? We need a deterrent for them this is getting out of hand. I don’t like cats but I hate to see animals in this conditon…

We have a dog but she is too overwelmed with the problem.
